💡Pro Tip: While the air reservoir can provide up to 40 shots on a full charge, optimal velocity and consistency are maintained within the first 30-35 shots. Performance beyond 35 shots may vary depending on shooting distance, ambient temperature, and air pressure. For the most precise results, we recommend recharging after the initial 20-shot string.

Warning: If filling the airgun from 0 psi, then it will be necessary to cock the airgun to remove the force of the Hammer against the firing Valve. Otherwise, the air will pass through the firing Valve and out the barrel, and the airgun will not pressurize.

All of our products (except products from collections of Tactical Backpack, Tactical Knives, Tactical Gloves & Tactical Vest) are covered by a 12-month warranty for its replacement and repair. Brand new products within 30 days of purchase will have a full product refund. Additionally, products may not be returned in used condition unless the products have quality problems.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Will be getting one of these in 22cal asap to do a video review on. I do pest control on dairy farms and this seems like it would be perfect in a barn for pigeons and rats!

best budget PCP pistol sold in USA

Overview

Received the Pinty Buster .177 a few days ago.
All my pistols are in .177 since I am a target shooter.
It is accurate up to the 18 yards I tried with a dot sight.
If I had a better sight it would have been even more accurate.
I can say I really like it for the $230-$250 I paid for it.

Build

Build quality is really good, at least as good as the PP700 or PP750.
One thing the build I do not like too much is the synthetic (TPU ?) grip, but I can change that easily.
Magazines are good, but I need to gently push the pellets in (use a toothpick) since they don't just drop in.

It feels hefty, around 2.5 lbs, but is manageable with 2 hands.
It is heavier than the PP700/PP750 and slighly longer.

Trigger

The trigger may need more work.
After using only the 2 adjustment screws, I got it to under 3lb.
It is single stage and has almost no travel length , you pull, trigger barely moves and then it shoots.
The safety has a screw that needed to be tightened on mine.

Hammer spring

The hammer spring has about 3-3.5 turns from flush to max in.
The grip will stop it from going out of the receiver.

Stock hammer spring dimensions: OD: 8.5mm, Wire diameter: 1.25-1.3mm, Length: 43.7mm.

The stock hammer spring is way too strong.
With the stock spring I got a max of 850-860 FPS with Crosman Field Point 7.4 grains for all the hammer spring positions.

I replaced the hammer spring with a different one I made.
The new hammer spring was cut from a spring with a 8mm OD, 1.2mm wire.
WARNING: A spring with 9mm OD did not fit in the hammer hole.
I actually cut 2 of those springs, both shorter than the stock one.
One of the new hammer springs gives me a range of 420-720 FPS with the 7.4 grain pellets.
The other one 540-800 FPS with same pellets.

Shot string

With the stock spring I got about 850-860 FPS consitently for 20-30 shots (did not shoot much at this power).

With the lowest powered spring, I get 415-430 FPS cosistently for 120+ shots (got bored and stopped counting).
Perfect for target shooting up to 10 yards.

Noise

It comes with a 1/2-20 threaded barrel.
With the moderators I 3D print it became very quiet.

Conclusion

This and the PP700/PP750 are the best budget PCP pistols around.
Unfortunately the PP700/PP750 are not sold in the US.

The 250 bar fill pressure and larger air tank gives you way more shots than the PP700/PP750.
Lower price than what I paid for the PP700/PP750 5 years ago, including the thread adapter.

.177 buster is a winner

This is a super accurate little pistol especially for the money!

Absolutely a fantastic gun. All aluminum except trigger guard and sights. Adjustable hammer spring, adjustable regulator, not at all pellet fussy. this pistol is as accurate as the pistol I have costing 4 times as much. nice grip, picatinny rail top and bottom. Excellent gun at a great price.

Make more I need the 22 also - .177 is great

Great gun. Probably voided my warrantee but bumped the reg a little and polished barrel port. Getting 24+ shots - at about 17.7 ft-lbs sd = 1.4 es = 4 with JSB 13.4. Very good accuracy at 25 yards
