Pinty Buster Tactical

Overview & Spec

Step up your shooting game with the Pinty Buster. Choose the high-velocity .177 (850 fps) for flatter trajectories and tighter groups, or the hard-hitting .22 (700 fps) for superior knockdown power. The 100 cc air tank provides 20–25 reliable shots per fill, while a fast side-lever action enables rapid follow-ups and minimizes reload time. An adjustable hammer spring lets you fine-tune power and shot feel, and dual 21 mm Picatinny rails — top for optics, bottom for lights, lasers, or grips — give mission-ready modularity for faster target acquisition, better balance, and quick on-the-fly setup.
Perfect for small game hunting, pest control, or backyard plinking — precision, power, and adaptability in one compact PCP pistol.

Warning: If filling the airgun from 0 psi, then it will be necessary to cock the airgun to remove the force of the Hammer against the firing Valve. Otherwise, the air will pass through the firing Valve and out the barrel, and the airgun will not pressurize.

Buster,

Received my new air pistol and I'm really pleased with the quality of construction. (Typical of all Pinty products I've purchased over the years. Looking forward to getting it charged up so I can start plinking with it. I'm opting for using nitrogen myself, being a better long term solution over compressed air. I'm also going to find me a nice little padded carry case for this nifty pistol. Want to take care of it. Well done, Pinty.

Buster .22 vs Buster .177?

Honestly I just tried both and I feel the.177 may be better. Definitely want a moderator on it. A little loud. I tried a Tatsu from DonnyFL and the Fatboy2.0. The Tatsu did help but I wanted more sound reduction, the Fat boy really did great but it blocks the front sight view. I will get something that is in between the two. The pistol feels front heavy, bipod recommended.

Buster has real balls

The wait is definitely worth the pistol. Shoots surprisingly as good as the Nightfall past 50 yards

This pistol far exceeded my expectation for power

This pistol far exceeded my expectation for power and accuracy. Minute of squirrel at 50 yds is no problem. The trigger is awesome. Not pellet fussy. Loud if turned up without moderator. Chunks .22 cal 25 gr pellets hard. Love it. I want a .25 cal now😂

My first PCP pistol

It took 2 months to recieve my .22 buster, but it was a well worth wait. I slapped a moderator and reflex on then filled the tank. The first 8 were sighting in second 8 was fine-tuning and third was pretty much1 ragged hole. I was shooting only 10 yds. I did have a few inconveniences. The first was the fill probe is a bit undersized and leaks. I used the probe from my Striker and that fixed the problem. The second is the pistol is a bit on the loud side. Easily fixed with a moderator. 3 This one has me a bit concerned, I have a new compressor, I set it for 250 bar. The compressor stops pumping at 250 but the gauge on the pistol is only 200 - 225. I really like the look, feel and accuracy thinking bout getting one in .177. Great pistol for the money!

Pinty Buster . 22

I was pretty excited watching videos about it before it came out. When I finally got one I wasn't disappointed. Fitted with a red dot and a DonnyFL mod it's quiet and accurate enough to seamlessly transition from plinking to pest control. I did have to adjust the trigger a little to smooth it out some and I put on the red corn sleeve for the fill port so I didn't have to remove the moderator every time. It works well off a bipod mounted to the lower rail and it's overall a lot more fun than I really expected. I thought it would be an occasional plinking tool because I have full size rifles but I find myself looking for opportunities to break out the Buster. If somebody makes a leg drop thigh holster for this thing I'll probably never take it off.

Make more I need the 22 also - .177 is great

Great gun. Probably voided my warrantee but bumped the reg a little and polished barrel port. Getting 24+ shots - at about 17.7 ft-lbs sd = 1.4 es = 4 with JSB 13.4. Very good accuracy at 25 yards

Just Wow!

All I have to say is that this thing is awesome. This is a powerful, accurate and affordable PCP pistol pushing 14.5gr pellets 760fps and that's impressive. It is very well made and fun to shoot.

A Lot of Pistol for the Money!

I was very happy when I unboxed and tried my new Pinty Buster Pistol. I got it in .177 and it makes really good power right out of the box. It’s a tad loud, but a small 3D printed moderator really quieted down. Fit and finish is remarkable and in line with Pistols costing 10X more! Best of all, it’s accurate! Can’t go wrong for the price!

Pinty Buster

Well worth the wait! Very accurate, easy to use. Wish it had quick connect fill instead of fill probe. But it is a nice shooter and is not extremely pellet picky

Pinty Buster Excels.

You would really have to be a nitpicker to find any faults with the Buster. I love the heft that the 99% metal construction provides. Fit and finish are top notch, especially for the price. Powerful and accurate to boot. Mine is in .177 caliber and shoots dime size holes at 15 yards with a variety of pellets. A true joy to own and shoot.

Pistols pretty cool but the shipping is horrible waited 6 months after I paid for it to arrive. Also would be cool if they offered a stock or spare magazines

FAQs

What Is a PCP Airguns?

Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air rifles are the top tier of modern airgun technology. They power each shot using a built-in reservoir filled with high-pressure compressed air.

Why shooters prefer PCP over traditional airguns:

  • Zero Recoil: No heavy spring slamming forward, allowing you to stay perfectly on target.
  • High Consistency: Delivers stable, repeatable velocities across dozens of shots per fill.
  • Maximum Power: Easily drives heavier pellets at higher FPS for reliable hunting and target shooting.
Do I need a license to buy a PCP airgun?

In the United States, airguns are generally not classified as firearms under federal law, meaning no federal license (FFL) is required for purchase.

  • Shipping Restrictions: We ship across the domestic US, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Local Regulations: Some jurisdictions (such as New York City, New Jersey, Chicago, or parts of California) have strict local restrictions regarding calibers, magazine capacities, or shipping. It is the buyer's responsibility to check local laws before placing an order.
Do Pinty PCP air rifles feature a built-in regulator?

Yes, all Pinty PCP airguns come standard with a high-performance, internally regulated system.

Instead of relying on an un-regulated valve that suffers from velocity drops as the tank pressure decreases, our built-in regulator ensures that every single shot receives the exact same air pressure from the first fill down to the regulator's set point.

How do I maintain my PCP air rifle? Is dry firing safe?

PCP rifles require far less maintenance than springers, but here are the golden rules:

  • Dry Firing: It is generally not recommended to dry fire (shooting without a pellet) frequently. Without a pellet to create backpressure, the raw airflow causes harsher impact on internal valves and O-rings over time.
  • Lubrication: Keep the external moving parts (like the side-lever action) lightly lubed. Never put petroleum-based oils inside the fill nipple or air reservoir, as high-pressure oxygen combined with petroleum poses a combustion hazard. Use pure silicone oil only.
How do I fill a PCP air rifle, and what equipment do I need?

Unlike CO2 or spring guns, PCP air rifles require specialized high-pressure equipment to fill their onboard tanks. You can fill them using three primary methods:

  • PCP Compressor: The most convenient method. A portable 12V/110V PCP compressor can fill your rifle in just a few minutes.
  • Scuba/Carbon Fiber Tank: A large external tank that can quickly transfill your rifle via a fill station adapter.
  • High-Pressure Hand Pump: A budget-friendly, manual 3-stage pump. While effective, it requires significant physical effort.

Note: Standard shop air compressors or bicycle pumps cannot reach the high pressures required for PCP airguns.

What caliber and type of pellets should I use? Can I shoot slugs?

For premium performance, we recommend using high-quality lead pellets matched to your rifle's caliber.

  • Pellets vs. Slugs: Our current barrels feature precision standard rifling (non-choked) optimized for standard diabolo pellets. While they can shoot lightweight slugs, round-nosed or hollow-point pellets will yield the tightest groupings and best consistency out of the box.
