Ive had a 11 months now and put 3000+ pellets thru it and it shoots just about everything good. I put a buckrail moderator on it and made it even better. I can shoot 2" groups at 100y with crosman pellets. The trigger is adjustable and is the best trigger ive touched on any pcp under $700. Its nice and lightweight too so imo
really cant go wrong with the Timber. Its the best pcp airgun in its price range, actually a lil better than the avenger

Superior packaging, easy to use, not too pellet picky, well built, looks great, fun to shoot and very accurate. Would highly recommend.

This Pinty Timber, shoots good but I wish that the shroud adapter was at least a half inch longer, so you do not have to remove the moderator to fill the air tube.

The P-Force Rifle (or P-Rifle as it's been nicknamed) delivers a lot of value in a beautiful package. The sidelever operates smoothly, the trigger is light and consistent, the 10-shot magazines have operated without issue for me. Stock factory settings, shooting JTS Dead Center 18.1gr pellets at an average of 841 fps across 51 shots. For still settling in, and not starting on pellet testing, gun groups well at 25 yards.
I have the following complaints against the P-Rifle though. First, the safety is a small crossbolt safety that makes positive clicks when operated, but is awkward to operate due to trigger guard sticking out further. Second, I am not a fan of staring down a barrel to see pressure, especially when safety is awkward and trigger is light. Third, this is the only version Pinty does not include a moderator with. While in of itself not a big deal, the barrel threading is an airgun non-standard threading of M14x1.0 (which is not what Pinty tried to tell me the threads are). Without a moderator the gun has a decent bark due to its power, and some may find that it is not backyard friendly for them. Next, although the gun comes with 2 magazines, it does not come with a single shot tray. It is easy enough to single load without, but would be a nice addition. Finally, not necessarily a bad but this is the only version that uses dovetail instead of picatinny rails and will require an adapter for Pinty's own scopes.

Despite these faults, I still gave a 5-star rating because for the money it is a fantastic gun. The wood has a good finish, and the rest of the gun is almost all steel and aluminum. For less than $225 with discount code (at writing) you get a wood and metal, regulated, high-powered and accurate rifle that is comfortable and easy to use. This is a great way to introduce new people to the joys of airguns.

What can be said here! This thing feels solid and heavy in the hand, it feels like a real rifle. Customer service was amazing. I have a few issues loading the magazine as I am new to air rifles. They sent me 2 videos, one of which they personally made and sent. After reviewing the video it was clear that I didn't know what the heck I was doing. I got that all cleared up. This thing thumps! I had to buy a pcp pump to get air in this thing. Got a workout doing that.

I got an earlier version of this rifle and I love it. Very accurate right out of the box at my limited 18-yard backyard range. A little louder than I would have liked. Had to hunt to find a thread adaptor but finally got one from DonnyFL and now it’s very quiet with the moderator. Great shot count. I think it’s really a nice looking rifle, too. I just take it out and admire it. This is a great value gun and I understand that the newer versions have 1/2-20 threads.

Great rifle for the $$. Light weight, short, trigger is decent, fairly backyard friendly, accurate.

I recently received the Pinty 22 caliber air rifle.
First off I have to say I was impressed by the packaging in the box. Everything is sealed in foam and cardboard , made for a very nice shipping box. I unpacked the rifle and inspected and everything seemed to be in good condition. From there, I ran a few patches down the barrel to get anything that was in it from shipping or factory cleaned out.
After that, I added air pressure to it and left it. Sit for a little bit to make sure it held.
Once I was satisfied with that, I added some Crosman Premier Hollow point pellets. I chose those pellets because I saw other reviews. Say they do very well. Mine was exactly the same, at 40 yards I put five shots in under half inch group. After that, I did more pellet testing and also adjusted the trigger..
One thing about the trigger screw I found it did not hold its position in the plastic trigger blade. I put some black nail polish on the threads of the screw and set it back in the position I wanted. After the nail polish dried, I haven’t had any problem since.
If you unthread the barrel shroud you will actually find 1/2 by 20 threads on the end of the barrel. You can add a suppressor on the end of it if you wish to make it more quiet.
I do like suppressed rifles, but I hate adding the length to the gun. For right now, I’m shooting the Pinty with just the barrel shroud and it does help quite the gun down a little bit.
For the money spent, I am highly satisfied with this rifle. I will be recommended to other people who want to get started or just looking for a nice plinking rifle

Differently Need PCP Air compressor to fill ! Filled it the First Time with a hand pump , Never Again ! Bought a Budget Compressor !
Only complaint, like others have said the Small Safety !
Besides that a Great PCP Air Rifle !

I don’t understand how they can sell a rifle like that so cheap. It is a steal in that price if I could give it a 20 instead of a 10 I would after the horrible time ahead with the Hudson that was twice as much in the price and the piece of crap in engineering.

What a great rifle! After buying any loving my P-Pup, and hearing all the talk about how great the P-Rifle is, I had to find out for myself. After checking it over and filling with air l, I let it sit 2 days. No Leaks! I set my target range up, 40 yards with 6 inch splatter targets. I did zero the rifle at half that, 20 yards. I used Blue Bomber pellets, since this is what I use for the tree rats and starlings. After zeroing, using 2 magazine, I went to work at the 4o yard target. Using my tripod, and my monstrum. 3x9x32 scope, I got 3- 10 round groups, 2 of which I could cover with a tree rat head, other one I pulled a couple(boy I've heard that tale a buncha times before). Anyway you are just not gonna beat the quality and accuracy from any other airgun close to this price. Do yourself a favor and buy you 1, or like me. One of each, and have a blast!

Rifle is extremely accurate with Crosman pellets. 912 fps with 14.3 grain pellets. It is LOUD though.

This item has a great classic wood finish and feels solid right out of the box (heavy). It’s well-made and functions smoothly with a ton of power for a pneumatic system. It's fairly accurate and a good value for the money. I really like the gauge in the end but wish that it was on the side to make it easier to see the pressure remaining in the cylinder. It's very good to be able to see it sitting in the cabinet, but in the field, it would be nice to be able to easier see remaining pressure without having to turn it around. This comes with a plethora of replacement O-rings and lubricants, and it didn't have a lot of instruction with it, so when the time comes to perform maintenance hopefully it will be pretty self-explanatory. With those pressures, it's a little concerning. Regardless, I added a budget-friendly weaver-style optic (around $35) since it doesn't come with standard open sights. I also had to purchase a special PCP air pump to charge it up and it was around $50. You may already have a PCP compressor in your possession and if so, you're all set to charge quickly and efficiently. Be aware that .22 pellets may not be available locally so you may want to consider that before buying this. They're obviously available online. This has turned into a fun and unique conversation piece in my collection, not a lot of people have these.

I had it for some time by now and I am updating my review from 4 to 3 stars now since I realized it is not such a great deal. I remember the DAR gen 3, no longer widely available now, was better in many points, like metal magazine, better materials and finish in breech and moderator quieter etc. DAR gen 3 started at $500 first but later went down as much as $300 , I didn't buy it then and I regretting it now. Since this pinty is priced at $300, I bought it cheaper with sale discount though, but plastic magazine, the dovetail mount and breech material and finish are lower quality than DAR 3, three improvements I see are the foster connection is sliding cover, fill pressure is 3500 instead of 3000psi in DAR and barrel is threaded in breech for sure. The DAR looks like it is held by two bolts only like NOTOS but DAR had a large plenum, and better trigger group than pinty. Pinty trigger is decent but DAR trigger looks like marauder style, is similar to JTS for sure.This is the review I wished I had read before buying this pinty, it is not bad purchase with sale discount but if I had to choice at $300 , I would choose DAR gen 3 instead. But DAR 3 is like $350 available at their website only, and I guess there is a reason for that, that other retailers stopped selling it. It seems there are widespread issues with the regulator malfunctioning. I don't know if pinty will have same or similar issue, too early to tell, hopefully not and their regulator works fine as many other pcp does.Original review belowI couldnt buy it from amazon since it doesnt ship to my address here in CA bougt it from them directly which is very close to me interestingly. Also interesting are mix of features like freefloating barrel , sidelever, wood stock and valve regulated..it has a shroud but loud for indoors , ok outdoors, so need installing airgun mderator for backyard. Trigger is decent two stage with screws for first stage, shear but no overtravel, it is no documented in manual and need to disassemble to acccess it, thatsprobably why not in manual. Manual is decent, nice paper and photos, intended for newbies, trigger weight is not too heavy but i can be lighten safely with your own spring replacement, which will void warranty so i am not posting this revew at their website.. the metals in breach, trigger parts, sidelever etc are all alloys, not forged or machined steel, which is no the best materials but not too bad either, they wont last a lifetime but probably long enough until i die, that the reason cheaper than a maradeur for example. Reservoir and and shroud is aluminium though. The shroud is fitted with adapter with two different thread sizes, removing adapter and shroud, i installed a unf suppressor, you need to remove adapter completely. Wood stock is beautiful , well made and finished. Thats why this is an interesting pakage since magazines are all plastic, sidelever action is rough but trigger pretty good ..it is a mismatch of high and so so parts and workmanship. I forgot to mention probe is hollow so air blows behind pellet, thats a feature in high end pcp but in here? The barrel can be removed easily, just unsecrew it..n easier to clean like that. Finally, didnt have chance to test grouping but read other reviews is good or decent , i think consisting barrel tensioning by shroud fitting will affect accuracy . Lastly this is quite short! Is between a bullpup and normal pcp rilfe, barrel is 19" instead of usual 25".. so easier to carry and handle but lower fps than normal pcp. I didnt contact support since no need, so dont know support quality but i expect better than umare , it cant be worse than them. But i think i will contact support for extra magazines , not terrible but no good since all plastic and finnicky to install first time.

Received the rifle well packaged and not a scratch on it. I cleaned the barrel and have shot 300 rds of JSB 15.89 gr pellets through it. The trigger is magnificently light, it's extremely accurate at 40yrds and the finish it well done. It's not back yard friendly but you can remove the barrel end cap, remove the outer shroud and install a moderater. I own roughly 100 air rifles with 30% being pcps, though this is no FX it's hard to beat the overall quality and accuracy of this rifle and by the way it's also regulated!! I believe I'll purchase a 2nd, it's that good!!
