Forget about the price for a second. This bipod works as well or better than other bipods I have that cost 3 to 4 times more than what this one cost me! I expect a bipod to attach easily and securely. This one was easier to attach and fits the rifle, (a Ruger American in 223 Remington), better than some bipods I have on my other rifles. The clamp mechanism that attaches to the sling mount was much easier for me to use than my other bipods and the simple foam pads made the attachment very stable. The legs fold out and lock in place very securely as do the leg extensions. There's a real nice matte finish on the bipod which looks pretty much like the finish on my AR receivers. The handguard sling attachment that's included was a much appreciated extra because a few of my AR don't have them yet. I've used this bipod for several range trips so far and I like it so much I just ordered 2 more!
